Personal Note: As an experienced auto body technician for 35 years and operating my own shop, I highly recommend you use a high quality mask if you are going to be painting often. The new paints being used today are a great improvement over the old lacquers and enamels used several years ago.

However these paints use a highly toxic catalyst and harder that when absorbed by the skin and into the lungs can immediately damage the cells and coat them and set you on the track to early health problems. Read the labels carefully and mix the ingredients as per manufactures spec sheet or on the can.

Recommended Starting Items:

• Quality Paint, Primer, sand papers, masking paper, 3m tape, and mixes
• Gravity Feed guns work best
• Latex Gloves
• Cheap white Paint overalls
• Quality Charcoal paint mask
• Lacquer thinner for clean up or gun cleaner
• Vent elation fan to remove fumes
• Lots of light for paint reflection as this is important
